We go through lot of food, litter, beds, and cleaning supplies as we take care of our homeless cats. Please consider donating supplies from Amazon. Our kittens greatly appreciate it.

Currently, we are saving as many lives as we can in our homes. Thankfully we have a very strong community and we are able to find amazing people to foster or adopt. We simply just need more space to keep saving as many lives as we can. We would like to create a perfect environment for our community to spend time with these at-risk cats. We will be able to develop their social skills and allow them to feel safe with familiar voices and human interaction to create a home environment. I have saved feral cats and created a community without boundaries in my home for 9 years. Over time one by one started dancing around my legs and allowed me to pet them. Watching them grow to trust and develop social skills due to consistency is truly amazing and rewarding.

The next step

We need your help raising the funds to open our retail space. The funds raised by this campaign will be used for startup fees, to purchase materials for construction, lease the building and begin the process of moving the first set of cats from other shelters into our establishment. Any additional funds are going to be invested to purchase inventory for Cats and Comics in order to create an ideal environment for both visitors and felines.

We aim to have a "cat cafe" style lounging space where you can read comics and play board games all while socializing with our feline friends. Unfortunately, we see cats experience stress and it takes them a little longer to trust and acclimate when they are moved to a new environment. We work with local rescues and shelters to take these cats that are less likely to get adopted and are at risk of euthanasia due to their personality.

An issue that can easily be resolve when cats are exposed to human interaction on a constant basis. This is the reason why we came up with an excellent strategy to make that happen in a way that allows people to engage in another entertaining activity as they interact with the cats. Our motto:

  • Read Comic books

  • Play tabletop games

  • Adopt a friend!
